Located in the north-central part of Montenegro, Kolašin was founded by the Turks in the 17th century. A must-see, the city is surrounded by the Sinjajevina, Bjelasica, and Kljuc mountains. National Park Biogradska Gora, which is a hot region for ecotourism and located among the protected forests of Europe, welcomes nature lovers every year.

Belasitsa ski season on the mountain is one of the most popular areas. Here the height of the snow cover reaches 3 meters, and the grassy slopes can slide safely with a small thickness of snow. The fact that the climate is mild is the biggest reason for the establishment of many social facilities around it.

In Montenegro  is a coastal city located at the entrance of the Bay of Kotor and at the foot of Mount Orjen. Herceg Novi is an important tourist center of Montenegro.

How to go?

Podgorica Airport is 80 km (50 mi) away. Kolašin is also a station on the Belgrade-Bar railway.

Komovi is a mountain range and mountain range in eastern Montenegro. It is part of the Dinaric Alps. Its highest peak, Kom Kučki, reaches 2,487 meters. Biogradska Gora is a forest and national park in Montenegro within Kolašin Municipality. One of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves, this region is one of the last three major virgin rainforests in Europe. The landscape consists of mountain ridges, glacial lakes and temperate forests.
